My view on software preservation-
 This is the start of perserving software. Older Macintoshes (and all computers) should not be wasted by thrown away into the dumpster or landfill. Keeping people educated about the beginnings of the computer age is important. While supporting the Macintosh line of computers, it represents works from the 1984 time frame. This preservation is important as people will not remember the good old days of computing. I am doing my part by making this available to you.

The Mac 512 & The Mac 512 User Group's view-
To provide anyone with an older Macintosh who needs this software to make their older Macintosh usable again. Please help support The Mac 512 User Group with software preservation in mind. A contribution of any sort will go a long way. We also have many of our downloads available on diskette for a modest fee. The fee is used only in The Mac 512 User Group to help keep it free to everyone.

Did you know?   Most of the available disk images found on the web on other sites were first downloaded from The Mac 512 User Group!  They don't have a license to distribute them like The Mac 512 User Group does.  Keep this in mind when trusting another source for these disks.
